Your Money: Exchanging Currency in China
Your currency can be changed at major banks, bank cash centers, airports, and hotels. The
exchange rate can vary depending on where you change your currency. Be aware that if you withdraw money at an ATM machine, you will receive Chinese Yuan. Exchanging Chinese Yuan for other currencies, particularly the U.S. Dollar, can be difficult. For political and economic reasons, the U.S. Dollar is not openly exchanged. You generally will have to exchange Chinese Yuan for other currencies at the airport. |
